This unique handmade ring features a rare Australian crystal pipe opal and quartz crystal point set in 14K gold-fill with sterling silver prongs. The ring has a discreet and comfortable adjustable band and is suitable for ring sizes 7 to 10. Gold-fill provides a much thicker layer of gold than gold-plated and should not wear off with proper care.
Australian crystal pipe opals are highly coveted and not easy to obtain. Mother Nature only created pipe opals in small localized areas, so it can take several years or decades before more of it is found in large quantities. This means that the supply is extremely limited, yet demand for this beautiful stone continues to grow. As a result, these opals are typically cut into small cabochons. It is very rare to find one this large, and I'm so grateful to have been able to get my hands on it!

As with all handmade jewelry, this piece is delicate and should not be worn during strenuous activity or in water. Please take care to remove it while swimming, bathing, washing hands, playing sports, etc. and avoid applying oils and lotions while wearing it.
